Hello World!

Soooo what took me so long?

I asked myself this same question more times than I care to count... Yet I never had the answer until about a week or so ago.

(It hit me like a ton of bricks. Mainly because the answer was always there, I just refused to trust it.)

It simply wasn’t time yet.

I was always going to do it - when I was ready.

Believe it or not, going by my own name is a huuuge deal.

After all, I spent near 30 years wishing I could change it! (and almost changing it!)

So when I decided that I will actually do it.. Change my business name, my social presence, website, start pronouncing it properly! (instead of hiding behind the more fancy sounding Yvette version) - It kind of put me through the ringer to be honest.

I had to learn who this person that goes by Iveta Ziedina actually is!

I had NEVER seen her!!!

I don't know her! Nobody does!

And that's why it wasn't happening.

I had to learn who she really was. At least just about enough to be able to put together all of this!

Soooo.... the past 6 months have been interesting to say the least.

I got to see some beautiful, new sides of me that I'd never seen before.

I am so excited to explore them!

I also got to see sides of me that are not so pretty to say the least. Sides of me that I had to understand, accept and learn to navigate. I am also excited to explore them.

It's a little bit like dating someone new.

I think I know enough now to take it to the next stage.
