OOOOooooh this project was soooo much fun to create! I can't even explain it to you! The whole thing, from start to finish. pure joy, but in the back of my mind,.. a tiny voice of the man I bought it from saying "Yes, this one belonged to my aunt! I think it's from Edwardian era, you could polish it up really nicely!" and I said: "Don't you worry! I will give this tray a new lease of life!" and I really hope that I did it justice too. So! I posted pictures and a process video on my Facebook page and I'm getting many questions about products used to create it and steps too! so here they are below!
Product list (click on the product to see where to buy it) :

TUTORIAL & step by step
start by giving your tray a good clean, then prime with Pentart bonding primer
Decoupage your paper in to the tray
apply base coat of sandstone paint over the edges of the tray
use a pencil to roughly mark out checks, then paint them on using country blue paint
use pentart delicate metallic paint to paint the trim, in between checks and the edge of the paper
apply 2 coats of glitter decoupage glue over the inside of the tray
use Pentart contour liner in pearl to add dotted details
Fill in inside of the tray with epoxy resin and voila! Your tray is done!
